Xilinx Reception at the Royal Irish Academy – Sunday 26th August

Xilinx is excited to invite FPL attendees to the well-known Royal Irish Academy, for an evening of socialising and networking, amongst technology demonstrations which showcase latest evolutions in Xilinx’s portfolio of devices, plus the opportunity to talk to Xilinx experts about RFSOC, machine learning and ACAPs.

We are honoured to be joined by President of the Royal Irish Academy, Professor Peter Kennedy, who will give some surprising insights during a brief overview of “Early Irish Contributions to the Information Revolution”.

Welcome Reception – Monday 27^th August

All registered delegates are invited to attend the welcome reception. The reception will provide an informal and relaxed atmosphere welcoming you to Dublin and the Congress. This will give delegates the opportunity to make new acquaintances and catch up with old friends in a relaxed environment while enjoying canapés, drinks and ambient local music.

Gala Dinner – Tuesday 28^th August

The FPL 2018 gala dinner will take place in the Dining Hall at Trinity College Dublin on the 28^th of August. On this night delegates will be treated to a sumptuous meal, followed by entertainment which will prove to be a memorable experience for all.

Demo Night – Wednesday 29th August

Demo night combines both the PhD Student Forum and demonstrations of the latest technology in the area. The FPL 2018 Demo Night event is an excellent opportunity for conference participants to network, demonstrate and disseminate their work. Hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be served to all attendees.
